Dr. Janette Brunken

Dr. Janette Brunken is our new physician to the practice. After graduation from Arrowhead Regional Medical Center family medicine residency program and practicing there as an attending physician, she joined the practice in December 2009.

Dr. Brunken is a southern California native who attained her education and training close to home. She attended Cal Poly Pomona as a premed student where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. She is received her M. D. from UCLA and Charles R. Drew Universities. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is trained to diagnose and treat patients of all ages with a wide variety of ailments. Her interests include women's health, sports medicine, preventative care and integrative medicine.

What makes Dr. Brunken unique is her special attention to spiritual health as part of her holistic approach to medicine. Dr. Brunken believes that spiritual health is an integral part of physical, mental and emotional health. This makes her a great listener and passionate health advocate for her patients. Being a firm believer in the Christian faith, she will often pray with patients when the opportunity arises.

Dr. Brunken is a member of the Christian Medical Dental Association. She is also a member of American Association of Family medicine always keeping up to date with the ever changing face of today's world of medicine.

Dr. Brunken enjoys cooking and is always on the search for new recipes that are not only healthy but enjoyable. Her other hobbies include running and reading. She is married with two sons.
